Lethal Weapon is my favorite Christmas movie. There isn't any one particular scene, I just love the whole thing.
I love the part in Home Alone where he talks to the pigeon lady. Shows the true holiday spirit.
I love all the home alone movies
Love the scene in Home Alone where he's pulling strings to make it look like there are people home.
My favorite Christmas movie is It's a Wonderful Life. My favorite scene is where at the end of the movie and everyone is standing around the christmas tree and ZuZu says "everytime a bell rings an angel gets its wing". And Clarence received his wings.
The santa Clause when the kids line up at the park to see Santa then the reindeer follow him home.
My favorite scene in a holiday movie is in the Christmas Story, Ralphie is made to put on the pink bunny suit that his aunt has made for him.
It's a wonderful life. It a great story. And there is nothing better to watch with someone has never seen # and old movie # and such a feel good movie. It's one of my faves! But what about White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kay ??? another tear jerker...
My favorite scene was in Home Alone 2 Lost in New York when the hotel staff entered his hotel room while he was pretending to be in the shower while playing the tape. He made me get down on their knees to say I love you...lol. Classic!!!
It's a wonderful life...
Christmas Story where Ralphy is cursing . And beating up the Bully. You go guy.
I consider Planes, Trains and Automobiles a great holiday movie, which starred John Candy (Del Griffith) & Steve Martin (Neal Page). These two had this incredible, crazy, hilarious adventure trying to get home for the holidays. My favorite scene ( truly a tear-jerker ) is when Neal finally made it home and he started reminiscing about the bizarre adventure he had with Del and realized that he (Del) did't have a family or anywhere to go for the holidays. Steve went to the train station and there he (Del) was, sitting there all alone. Neal brought Del home to spend the Christmas holiday with his family and then you hear the soundtrack "Every time you go away" by Paul Young play in the background. That's when the tears start rolling down your face. I love that movie!
The scene in home alone where the mom says: "This is Christmas. The season of perpetual hope. And I don't care if I have to get out on your runway and hitchhike. If it costs me everything I own, if I have to sell my soul to the devil himself, I am going to get home to my son." I just thought that was soooooooooo motherly...and she would have done it too!
We used to watch Home Alone every Christmas Eve with our son. There are several scenes that are memorable ... the spider on Daniel Stern's face when he screams like a girl and the rest of the time when they are in the house being outsmarted by Kevin. Also, Christmas vacation ... the cat chewing on the tree lights is hysterical. Makes me want to re-watch them again this weekend.
I love the "Merryu Christmas, Ya Filthy Animal" scene on Home Alone. It just makes me crack up. That whole movie was hilarious. I can remember it after 20 years without seeing it.
