on Nov 20, 2025: This doesn't surprise me given the fact that people are struggling to get by to just pay for groceries, etc. We decided to stop buying gifts years ago and focus on family time together. We're all much less stressed now that we're not so caught up in the materialism that Christmas has become.

on Feb 20, 2025: Interesting, but I had heard that the new movement is to refrain from adding to our landfills by buying so much fashion and to use our clothing more than just a season. Such a shame to trash our earth by fashion whims. The survey results surprise me .. apparently I am in the minority.
