I am still trying to overcome living with chronic pain every day. I was hit by an 18 wheeler and I know I am not anywhere near as bad off as other people since I can walk. But, living with pain every day is exhausting and can be depressing. The worse part is I can no longer work and that was my saving grace. It gave me purpose to get up every day. Staying home every day is the most depressing part of all.

I'm not sure if this really counts but I overcame loneliness. Let me explain . At 19 I married my high school sweet heart and we were expecting . We bought a house an hour away from my family. Growing up my father had NOTHING. To do with me even tho I did and still do keep in contact with my other half siblings. Dealing with my daddy issues my mom was s heavy drinker everyday it was the same routine drinking yet we had no money then came the fights go to sleep wake up repeat. So when I moved and was expecting I thought oh wow my family will shape up snd visit especially when the baby comes. That never happened but i learned that I could be the mom that I yearned for as s child and my husband is a wonderful father. It was hard to finally come to this mindset I was depressed for a long time even though no one knew. I'd cry in the shower then slap on my brave face. With hope love and courage anything is possible just believe in yourself even if you think no one else does

@m121415 I overcame a limitation in my life by being brave enough to move over 1800 miles away from a 16 yr abusive relationship. With the support of a loving family and 3 young boys looking up to me and many many prayers with a leap of faith I did it for the boys and I did it for me.

I overcame being a mother at 16 and then again at 19. I was just a statistic to most. I finished high school and got a college degree. Never giving up and pushing on when I didn't have the strength too. The power of prayer and a strong support system around you.
