I loved spending time at Central Park. I remember visiting the zoo there as a child.
My favorite park is Conowingo Dam in Cecil County, MD. It is a bird sanctuary, featuring herons, waterfowl, and bald eagles, a prime fishing spot, and a gorgeous view. The two mile trail follows the Susquehanna River. It is forested, but well maintained. I was first introduced to Conowingo Dam in high school on a bird watching expedition. I was hooked. My father and I enjoyed taking hikes together, so we began traversing the park together. He was diagnosed with ALS in April 2011. As his condition began to deteriorate, I made sure we visited the dam one last time. It was a bittersweet hike, and he wasn't able to go far, but we were able to sit together in silence and just take it all in. I have a picture of him in the park that day, an image I'll always treasure. I lost my dad last year, and I can't help but think of him each time I visit the park - at least once a month. It's become even more dear to me as it holds so many sweet memories of time spent with my dad.
Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, MN... a beautiful, urban park.
My favorite memory at the park is with my son at Central Park in NYC, which was place we would go every weekend to watch the birds, spend family time together and slide down all those great slides at each park starting at 67st on the east side which is a great way to visit all the different parks and build memories with your kids and it's FREE, just pack a lunch, drinks and fruit and your all set!! #Priceless

Stony Brooke Park in Dansville NY,They have beautiful waterfalls hiking trails an camping !
I live in Pinellas County (St Pete/Clearwater) Florida and all of our County parks are wonderful. I've been able to explore all of them with my husband and son. Each has it's own flavor whether is be the Gulf of Mexico and sandy beaches or a lake and alligators. Exploring them with my family makes any time we visit memorable.
I enjoyed taking the kids to Sea World and watching them brave the roller coaster for the first time.
My favorite park is called Noble Park. It's a beautiful park with a lake in the center and a gazebo in the center of the lake. On an island in the lake is a house that was built for the geese and ducks that live there. My mom and I used to go there quite a bit and eat lunch on one of the picnic tables. We would also make sure to stop at the store to buy food to feed the geese. Recently, my husband and I took my ten month old daughter there to see the geese. I want her to have the same memories I do.
My kids and I have many wonderful memories of Montanna de Oro in Los Osos, Ca. Hiking, exploring, touch tanks, bird watching, beaches, creatures. lots of fun and such wonderful views
Disney World Orlando Florida. My mother's 85th birthday. We flew there to see my niece (my mom's granddaughter) perform in one of the shows. A great 85th birthday gift.
For us it's called Moanalua garden's the trees there must be over 500yrs old, they say the Kings and Queen's of old Hawaii used to use this park to bask in the gardens and enjoy it. The park is so well taken cared of, the grass is so green and the kids can run and get their sunshine on! There's a little pond to catch small fish and best of all it's where I made memories of fun times and picnics with my parents and now i'm making with ours.
Cliché, but my fave is Yellowstone Nat'l. Park, a place so full of natural beauty and variety. It's near where my hubby grew up so we traveled there with our kids many times from our east-coast setting. Just seeing the joy in the kids' faces as we traipsed around and saw wildlife, waterfalls and geysers, hot springs, mountains and scenes of nature was enough to make me love to go back year after year.
