this morning when my 2 year old heard his baby sister crying, he ran fast out of the room and when he came back he had a bottle in his hands and started shouting, sister sister here dont cry!!! it was soooo sweet!

My daughter ran up to my yesterday after making her lunch and said I was the best mommy in the world. It made my heart melt! I love that girl!

My granddaughter knew that my mother-in-law passed away yesterday so she came over and gave me a bear hug saying "Grandma don't ever leave me". I got a tear in my eye and a bit choked up. I am so blessed by the love shown to me by my grandchildren.

It's the little things, my daughter ran into my room in the morning and said "mommy, i love you!" That is always my favorite part of the day!

Today, I was baby sitting my nephew. He had angered me severely so I decided to go cook lunch while he was in timeout. While I was standing at the sink he walked into the kitchen, and latched onto my leg. When I looked down all he said was "love you!" and went back to time out. It's amazing how a two year old can just melt your heart.

We have a fake tarantula that we hide for each other to find. I put it in my daughter's Barbie car today and, when she found it, she came and "snuck" it into my pocket and told me to check my pocket. It puts a smile on my face every time I find the tarantula after she hid it.

My little one told me I am beautiful even though I have been sick and look horrible :)

I smiled when our son kissed his daddy with food all over his face. I should have taken a picture. It was too funny!

my son told me i was beautiful....and he did not even ask for anything! he just said something nice and went on his way....so nice.

my 3 grandsons (9, 6, and 4 years old) called me on the phone to chat!

We play the what if game. One of us says what if such and such happens and the other says what would happen and starts the next one. Today while playing my son laughed and told me "You're crazy...I like that about you." I couldn't help but smile. Kids love you for the honest, and simple reason that you are you.

My little cousin wrote me a note and left it on the table for me and when I woke up it read 'You are my favorite cousin, I hope that you never die and that you are able to have kids and that you get hurry up and move into your home so I can come stay with you. I love you Sarah. Brittney' She had a lot of the wording spelled wrong which made it more cute, but she's always afraid she'll be left alone poor thing she stays attached to my hip!
