I am a coffee freak!!! I love coffee with everything and my husband even brings it back for me on his business trips as my present! I love love love it!
my brother wife loves making flan the ingredients are 1 cup white sugar 3 eggs 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk 1 tablespoon vanilla extract pour it onto bake pan and bake for 1 hour on 350 degrees thats it so fast and easy and whole family enjoy and love it :)
Most of the recipes sound soooooooooo tasty! I wish I had something to share but we don't have an established tradition yet. It's still trial and error for us.
We have my dad's homemade sweet rolls for breakfast. Frozen bread dough, brown sugar and almonds all rolled up into deliciousness!
This would be awesome to win. One thing I love is to try different coffees.
i have never owned a coffee grinder i can only imagine how good true fresh ground coffe would taste
I always like to make french toast for breakfast on christmas. I buy a loaf of challah bread cut it in nice thick slices. I then mix up 4 eggs, a tablespoon of cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg. Eggs varies by serving. I then dip the bread in the egg mixture and then dip the bread in sliced almonds. I then put butter in a pan and placed the bread till golden brown. When it's finished I sprinkle some powdered sugar on top. Always comes out yummy.
Make a cut of hot chocolate that wows by using Kraft flat marshmallows and a small star cookie cutter.
I wish I had time to try every single one of the recipes Happy holidays and bright new year shespeakpeeps:)
My family LOVES peanut butter. The easiest peanut butter cookie recipe we use for part of our Christmas dessert is: 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar and 1 large egg. Mix the ingredients together until well blended. Roll into 1 inch balls, place on a cookie sheet. Press down (criss-cross) with a fork and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. EASY to make and my family loves them.
My family holiday brunch tradition started 23 years ago: 2 cups diced ham 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1/2 cup sliced green onion Mix first three ingredients in one bowl, in another bowl place 2 and 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 8 seven inch flour tortillas In separate bowl mix: 5 beaten eggs 2 cups half and half 1 and 1/2 tablespoons flour 1 large garlic clove pressed (or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder) Few drops Tabasco Place 1/3 cup ham/vegetable mixture and 3 tablespoons cheese on each tortilla. Roll them up and place seam side down in 13x9 greased pan. Pour egg mixture over tortillas, cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, remove foil and sprinkle with remaining cheese and place back in oven until melted. Allow to stand 10 minutes and serve with salsa.
I really enjoy my MIL's egg and sausage casserole. It is very delicious. I do not know the recipe but I do love when she offers to make it.
I love fresh ground coffee and have been looking for a grinder Oh how I hope that I win this one!
i am the most horrible cook! but my fave receipe is a box of dark chocolate brownies - you make as directed but put 2/3 in the pan - then you put dollops of a peanut butter mixture (1 cup smooth pb, 1 egg, 1/4 cup sugar, 4 tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla) on top and then cover with the remaining brownie mix and swirl with knife -- 35 minutes at 350 and you have the most delicious brownies EVER!
