I will be celebrating Fat Tuesday in Mobile, AL where Mardi Gras in the United States originated. I will be on the parade routes all day so I will be eating something that is portable. I also will be eating moon pies that I catch straight off of the floats. In Mobile Mardi gras is celebrated by attending parades and masquerade balls where a gown is a MUST! Men must wear tails and everyone must be ready to party ALL night long. My favorite southern dish would have to be the boiled shrimp and boiled crawfish in which we get straight of the boat. When I am in Louisiana you can't miss out in the Beinettes. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
