A good teacher shows kindness, support and understanding to their students. Throughout my school years many great teachers showed me these things. In return for their nurturing .I became a teacher. I hope that in my years I have shown, kindness, support and understanding to my students. I give a huge THANK YOU to all teachers. It is a difficult, undervalued , amazing job.

Ms. Heller, my Chemistry teacher, was patient and helped me when I struggled in her class. She taught me not to give up. And I am grateful for that.

Definitely curiosity! Once I found my major in college (geography) I also found teachers who were passionate and unique which really spiked my curiosity!

Other: My 8th grade teacher (forget which subject) used to always say, "If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?" I could never understand the question, let alone figure out the answer, until recently (decades later, lol). Turns out, he was saying there are a lot of ignorant people out there. It kind of teaches me that you may not understand things now, or even years later, but that's alright, you'll get it when you get it!

I had a teach who taught me that any book I wanted to read was a good book for me to read, as long as I kept reading. I love to read, and she's part of the reason. Thanks Mrs. Jackson.
