I am SO done with this whole princess situation. Princesses don't DO anything, they are just known for their beauty and who they marry. I'd rather see a woman who has a mind of her own and actual goals and life plans.

i think update should be a NEW story myself. I like seeing the old story brought fresh life, but don't change the core story

Give a new twist to the story without changing it so that Cinderella will still be Cinderella.

No. Why can't Hollywood just leave the classic's alone. I don't think that they need to re-make this movie. I always explained to my kids that even though Prince Charming picked Cinderella, she was still her own person.
