    I try to make sure there are only healthy snacks and drinks in the house. Almost all the time my personal drink of choice is water with a slice of lemon or lime. Also, cutting out artificial sweeteners has really helped curb my appetite.

    I am an emotional eater, I will snack at my desk while working (so I stopped keeping snack foods at work) I love potato chips, I usually eat breakfast, but not every day. We have a steamer because steaming food is much healthier. Bought it 2 months ago, have used it 3 times. I think my biggest downfall is my almost nightly snack of 3 or 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with peanut butter cool whip and chocolate syrup. My weight has always been an issue, I lose and I gain it back, so I kinda gave up. But now I am at a point where I need to start watching what I eat. I am getting older and cannot exercise due prior back surgery.

    My goal is to try to not skip breakfast and see if it affects my eating during the rest of the day as well as my weight.

    I skip a meal because I'm not hungry and then I pay for it the next meal by way over eating.

    I have always been addicted to the wrong foods and like any addict., it is a hard habit for me to stop.

    I am amazed and somehow comforted that all these apply to me, and I am not alone.
