This year may be the "last hurrah", so to speak, because of the terrible gas prices. We're taking a road trip of about 3000 miles this summer and then in the fall we have a cruise that we purchased months ago. Beyond that we'll probably stay home more.

We will probably go to the beach which isn't more then 50 miles from home. Other then that we're not driving anywhere because of the high price of gas. We shouldn't need to much this summer because we've been stock piling things getting ready for the summer months. We have enough Gatorade for three months! We have a lot of activities planned for this summer but they're close to home!

Well since gas went up to 3.99 in my area today and we have a house payment to make, our vacation/anniversary trip was canceled.. Something has to give the economy is in a horrible shape!

I'm paying $4.24 in NY. The amount I pay for gas a month is about the price of an air ticket, excluding hotel, car rental, food, etc. I'm definitely staying local this summer!!

We had already booked a trip to Orlando so we have to go but I certainly would not be driving anywhere this summer. Plus the Stimulus package helped pay for the triP!

My vacation would consist of roughing it - somewhere without modern conveniences of society.

We go to Florida every other year and go camping a lot during the summer. While we are still heading to Florida this year, we will cut back on our other camping trips.

We take mini trips, however, this will only occur a few times due to increases in gas and food costs.
