In favor of uniforms. Saves time to get ready, as well as money for new clothes for school.
I'm not against uniforms at all. Keep thinks simple. Less stress over what to buy/wear.

I loved my school uniform and wore them for 14 years of my school life back home in India. It is definitely convenient and takes mind off of trivial things and focusses on studying. Plus you dont need to have several pairs of shoes to go with each outfit. If you have a school uniform you will also stick to a school shoe.
When I was in grade school I went to a Catholic school and we had a dress code which we had to wear specific things. We didn't have a uniform but had to wear Khaki's and a collar shirt. I hated it! I think kids should be able to wear whatever they want, within reason. I don't think there should be a dress code. That is so old school!
I think uniforms are better for kids and moms and schools. It's not a fashion show, it's learning.
I'm in favor of school uniforms. It reduces stress on both parents and children and enhances the learning environment. Always wore a uniform at school. I think that is why I still love wearing plaid skirts in the fall and winter:)
I wore a uniform in elementary school and hated it. Now, I don't care either way, but I see nothing wrong with them. They would take the pressure off of some kids, and some parents as well.
If they are truly affordable, uniforms for schools are great.
