Every 4th of July my kiddos, husband , family and friends all get together at our house and everyone brings their best desserts and favorite foods that they make and we also grill outside. Everyone gets to do some catching up and the kiddos play all kinds of games. Then after we're done eating we go to the lake and watch the fireworks and also pop some ourselves! Best part is spending time with family and friends!

I love getting together with my family and friends for a cookout. We each bring something to grill and a side dish. There is always so much good food.

After sleeping in, catch some good sales at the mall. Then we go to a pro soccer game with fireworks afterwards!

What I enjoy most is being with someone I love and enjoying the simple things in life. Now that my children are grown and live in different parts of the country it is just my husband and I, so we don't go anyplace to watch fireworks. We spend the day together, working around the yard and reading a good book on the back porch with a nice cool drink. We'll barbeque and have apple pie for desert.
