My English teacher taught me to stand out and not care about what your peers think.

Ms. Heller, my Chemistry teacher, was patient and helped me when I struggled in her class. She taught me not to give up. And I am grateful for that.

My favorite teachers were my early education ones, they taught me basic life skills that I use everyday. Respect, sharing, empathy and patience.

After attending the same school from Kindergarten to 8th grade, I entered high school not knowing anyone. My English teacher was also in her first year at that school, so we kind of bonded. She was my very favorite teacher in high school.

As a student the best thing a teacher ever taught me was to be creative and not to fear sharing my point of view. We are not all a herd of sheep, we are all different and differences make for an interesting world. As an Adult with elementary aged children of my own, I have learned to appreciate Teachers more and more! It really takes a special person with an abundance or PATIENCE and LOVE to be a great teacher! I couldn't do it. I lack the patience big time! To ALL teachers!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Understanding another's point of view is huge! Sometimes I force myself to step back and see things from someone else's angle and it completely changes my thoughts on the topic/situation.
