I am excited for crisp, cool mornings and upcoming holidays with family. My family like many others are spread out and the holidays are always a special time that we all take time out of our busy lives and spend time together.

It isn't fall unless the leaves are changing! I'm a Michigander and I love my seasons but fall is by far, my favorite! I love homemade soups & bread, making candy & caramel apples with the kiddos along with pumpkin carving, football and family! NOTHING better than fall!

Ina fowler My favorite memories of a child when fall arrived, my siblings & I raking leaves and having so much fun jumping in the huge high piles playing hide & seek! While all along mom cooking a glorious hot autumn meal of rib sticking beef stew & always baked apples with a touch of cinnamon topped with cream. A hard days play & work and wonderful memories of Mom!

I love decorating for Halloween and having all the neighborhood children come knocing at my door. And for the Thanksgiving party just having all my family together around the table giving thanks for all we the little things and big things in our lives.

Raking leaves is a lot of work but I love the fresh air and rustling sounds of those leaves when making the huge piles of them. Great exercise too! Our dogs loved running through those big piles of leaves and messing them up too and those memories are the most special to me this time of year since our dogs aren't with us physically anymore. I also love fall colors for clothes and love all of my boots and sweaters I can wear again....like a new wardrobe every year!
