    The Zhu Zhu pets are the hottest toy in the Midwest area for kids ages 3-6 yrs old. There are stores all over that readily have them available, if you truly want them.

    I would never buy those Zhu Zhu things--cheap product made in China probably full of lead and made with cheap labor that has no human rights! I will not support anything made in China until they clean up the environment and their employment practices.

    Hm, well, I'm just going by what is mentioned in my house, and all I ever hear about are video games (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is HUGE, as well as Left4Dead 2 (I have a 15 year-old running around)), and horses and Barbies (typical of a 6 year-old girl.) Oh, and Build-a-Bear is still a big thing with the 6 year-old... She's got 4 already.

    I find it nice that is a lower price toys. The Zhu Zhu pet was pretty easy for me to find since walmart has had them the past few days.

    Definitely Zhu Zhu Pets. They can not keep those things in the stores! You would think they cost a fortune, but they are only $9.99!

    I've been hearing about Zhu Zhu pets non-stop this season - I think they are the hot item among younger kids because they are so cheap. However, the accessories are what will get you. None of my kids said a peep about them though, so I just kept my mouth shut and we will not have any hamsters running around here!

    Zhu Zhu Pets are the hottest toy this year. Every Christmas there is a specific hot toy, that mysteriously sells out quickly and stores are slow to get more in stock - and they sell for a fortune on eBay. Its all a scheme. In the past it has been Tickle Me Elmo, etc.

    I still perfer to buy more educational toys for kids, like crayola's glow in the dark drawing pad.

    personally when buying toys for children, I prefer more educational toys, like leap frog toys and crayola's new gloe in the dark drawing pad.
