As a gift from a company, which would you prefer?

Companies offer a lot of incentives to get us to pay attention to their products and buy their brands.  If you had a choice, would you prefer a $10 gift card or coupons for free products?

And, as always, let us know why!

4-5 coupons for free products from brand name manufacturers (52.4%)

$10 gift card to spend anywhere (47.6%)

4 or 5 free items are most likly worth more than ten dollars. I'll take the most

I think coupons are easier for others to use then a gift card. Many people in rural areas are unable to use the gift cards.

I rather test their products for free before actually spending money on them

Free products would probably be best if they are products that you would need. But there is a good chance that they wouldn't be so I think $10 is better.

I like trying new things - especially for free. It's fun, and sometimes I'm introduced to something I really love that I might not have tried otherwise.

Coupons for free product is a bit more appealing to me- I may get to try something new with the free coupons -also, seems like a better value. Ten dollars doesn't go very far these days.
