I absolutely love summer. Although the hot weather in North Carolina can leave your skin and hair dried out, make sure you drink plenty of water. Also apply sunscreen before going out. My all time favorite sunscreen if i am going to be on the beach is Aussie Gold with SPF and a bronzer when applying it you look like you have a tan before you get to the beach. Another one of my favorite products is clinique for face. safe for sensitive skin with a spf 50. I alsways use jergans lotion with self tanner in that is a must after showering. One of the most important things to remember is either wear a hat or apply SPF to hair also and once a week deep conditioner. I use Aussie 3 min. LOVE THE SUMMER....

I love the look of a nice tan, but I have such fair skin that all I do is burn and I am just to old to deal with sunburn pain anymore; not to mention the risk for skin cancer.

My grandmother had skin cancer, had to have a third of her nose taken. I really watch out for the sun and try to proctect my skin as much as possible.

I don't know if they meant sunscreen instead of "suntan lotion." I checked "other" because I use sunscreen.

My mother-in-law had melanoma on the side of her waist. I was at the hospital when she had it removed. I've been wearing sunscreen everyday since!

My condolences, Number1FarmGirl - I was recently diagnosed with melanoma, but fortunately it was caught early and was removed with clear margins. I am so sorry that you lost your husband to this disease. It is so important to use sunscreen daily, and be very, very conscious of changes to your body. I was lucky, but sadly many are not so fortunate.

I just recently bought a bottle of St. Ives Skin Renewing Body Lotion Collagen Elastin. It has been amazing on my skin. It looks and feels healthier with this lovely glow to it. The acne on my arms doesn't seem to be as bad either which is most impressive. It's also been helpful with the itchy skin from pregnancy.
