Common courtesy goes far and I have spotted Celebs in other areas like Las Vegas at the Bellagio (when the show "O" first opened) and thank goodness that encounter was positive. I wait to be spoken to when in close quarters with such people because I don't like bothering strangers. In the end, that is what they are no matter if I saw such stranger perform in a movie or on TV. I have had great experiences by just minding my business! The best was Harrison Ford and he was funny while he asked my husband and I several questions when he found out we had been together for almost 19 years (dated since High School).

I think if I had a friend with me, I'd go but if I was by myself and saw the celebrity, probably wouldn't have the courage to go. haha

I have seen a couple celebs and some are really nasty and rude if they dont get there special treatment that they think they are entitled too. Some are really nice but i havnt asked anybody for a autograph or photo. Some of them have there security yelling at you if you just act like you want to take a picture of something close to there face. The best thing is probablly to acknowledge that you like them like with one chef i told her how i like her cooking she said thank you and that was it. I understand that they dont wanna be bothered when they out with there family and after all they just ppl like you and me that got lucky showing there talent. I do believe they should be a little bit nicer to fans tho since they are the ones that finance there life. But why do they think they supposed to get stuff free when they the ones with 5 cars and 8 million dollar homes?

I've met a lot of celebrities. Some really nice, a few not. But I always gave then the privacy of eating. Never bother during a meal.

I have seen a couple of celebrities while living in la.. but i have never walked up to them to bother them. To be honest.. even if i saw my idol i would not bother her.. I wouldnt mind it being an event.. but if it looks like they are having their private time then of course i would respect their privacy.

I saw Ioan Grufford (not sure on spelling) in an airport in Oahu. He is every bit as handsome as he looks by the way. I was sitting on a bench when he walked right past me and that was enough, if he wasn't a celebrity and just drop dead gorgeous, I wouldn't have approached him; his 'status' doesn't change the rules of behavior. No one else at the baggage carousel was bothering him from what I could see either.

I don't live in an area where any stars hang out, but I think I might say hi if I recognized one up here in Northern WI. If they looked like they might be in the mood.

Living in New York, you would see celebs everywhere - even a couple of my jobs required working with some and I never approached them as a fan - I always felt as they needed their privacy, they are people just like you and me.
