We eat together as a family at least one meal per day. Nice to see that most of you agree! I think it is very important to keep the family lines of communication open and having a meal slows everyone down in order to talk about "stuff". We also like to cook together which can be a lot of fun or very frustrating! I try to keep in on the fun side since I'm in charge. I'm a Mom so I have to be, right?!

I'm very happily surprised to see that "7 days" is in the lead! I too think that a lot of good things happen when families eat together - and not every meal has to be perfect, ours usually consists of one sibling argument, but I love the time together!

My husband and I make it a point to eat dinner together every night! We used to sit and watch tv while eating but have now started eating at the table. I realized this has given us much more time to learn about what is going on with our children's daily school and home lives! As parents we can't know everything that goes on unless they talk to us.

Although there are only three of us in our household, none of us are ever home at the same time! Quite sad.

Although we might not eat a proper sit down meal such as dinner, we do eat at least one meal a day together even if that is food on a tray.

With the schedules we keep, I am amazed that we get to see each other and talk. Like all things in a marriage and family, you have to want it and be willing to work for it.

My kids aren't kids anymore. They work, and spend some of their dinner's with their dates & friends. We get about 5 days a week together and that's pretty good considering they are young Adults now. All through their lifes though we've had 7 days a week dinner time, and it's always been a great memory and still is. Cheerish every minute that you can with your kids, cause they do grow up fast.
