What homemade gifts have you received? Or given?
Yes, I love when gifts are creative (76.0%)
No thanks, store bought is best (1.1%)
Only if the gifter has a real talent or skill (22.9%)
I've received really amazing homemade gifts and very interesting ones! In the end it's the thought that counts. :-)
I guess it depends on what it is. I am happy any time someone thinks of me. Some home made gifts are really good. Some when people make weird food not so much. I still say thank you and take it and show appreciation. I have made things that maybe did not turn out so well and I did not know until after I had given it to the person. Maybe they did not talk too bad about me.
I was shocked at what percentage stated if the gifter was talented in the making of the gift. I truly would prefer a well hand made gift but irregardless it's the thought that counts. Plus if you have money its easy to grab a gift but when someone's heart is in it, it just means so much more.
I love to make gifts all year long and I love love to receive made gifts as to brought ones . Really they are so much more personal and fun . I treasure way more
When the gift is well made a genuine thank you is given. I would rather give a heartfelt thanks.
My great niece is 3 yrs old and on friday we made homemade gifts for mommie and all of her grandparents/aunts. She had fun and will be excited to give them out on Christmas Eve. And ever one will save them because they love her and they will love the homemade gift.
I love all of the homemade gifts I get from my granddaughters.
I think it makes the gift even more special for the person receiving when it?s homemade, takes extra thought and effort no matter what it is. It?s the thought that counts and what gift giving is all about. I would rather give than receive any day!!
I think it?s special in anyway but first of of who?s giving it to you if the person that gives the present is special in your life
Is so sweet when somebody make something for you!
