    It would depend, of course, on the male, but I might hire a male babysitter.

    Many years ago, I was awaiting surgery and reached a medical crisis. My Dad pitched in so I could get to the hospital immediately and continued to pitch in as my babysitter through my hospitalization and recovery. Does that count?

    My daughter had 2 male babysitters--both college students--when she was a kid. She loved them! She had female ones, too, but I think the 2 guys were her favorites.
