How much do you 'embellish' stories you tell your friends?

I guess I like more to exaggerate sometimes if I think that it'll make the story funnier. I would never seriously embellish a story to make it more tragic, for example. I enjoy telling stories on myself, in particular, but in a funny way.

Why should anyone embellish any story ? The truth is the best at any and all times.
