    We were surprised to receive a larger than expected refund this year. We spent some of this for a long weekend trip to Miami. The remainder will be spent purchasing something we need for the house. It was fun getting unexpected $$ even though we know it is better to pay more during the year so that no refund is required.

    We put it all as an extra mortgage (principal only) payment like we usually do when we get extra money. We are trying to be 100% debt free by the age of 30. Our mortgage and our RV are the only two things that need to be paid off and we've got 2 1/2 years to do it to make it by 30 (or 3 1/2 to make it during my "30" year) which will be tight but hopefully possible
