I would only trust certain websites for recalls, now a days anyone can write anything they want look at Wiki now....
I love the Recalls plus app! I have 2 little ones and the app is so convenient!
Personally, I don't think recalls are given their due. Most times, if you don't catch word about a recall from the news, you'd never know about problems with products. There has to be an easier way, a more consistent way, for all consumers to be protected.
The FDA has a food recall system that will email you directly when there is any food contamination. It's great because they email you!
I like the recall app
Im loving my app been using it over a month know!!!
I am going to start checking recalls, I guess I have not been as proactive as I should be regarding recalls. I see recalls on the new, or through word of mouth, but have never gone out and sought my own info on recalls. I will be from now on!!!
Hi everyone: Using the Recalls Plus app will certainly make keeping tracks of food and toy related recalls super easy. It is free to download, and you can use iPhone, Facebook or an Android device to use it. Check us out: www.recallsplus.com
I have always relied on the News to provide me with details on any recall for products I own or use. I guess that is really not the best method to use as I am sure they only talk about products that are high profile. I had no heard of other sites to use - but now I know.
I will rely on the recalls+ app more now. Within the first 48 hours of downloading it, I was notified of a recall on my child's carseat. One thing I would have missed if I relied on my searching for the information on my own
