Nice jeans, but I'm not that impressed with the sizing. I wish they would do standard sizing because EVERYONE who measures me tells me I'm a different size & "color"/shape. oi! I end up trying on 3 different sizes in two "colors" Also, I don't like the fact that I have to be measured by someone else. I know my standard size & just want to grab it off the rack... but like I said, nice jeans for full figured gals.

Amazing Store! Insanely High Priced! I'm a huge Lane Bryant fan! They have trendy cloths that fit us plus size girls amazingly well! The way we wish all cloths would fit! My issue is the prices!! They are INSANELY high! We need more affordable trendy options for us plus size girls! I wish your prices would reflect what normal sized girls pay for a shirt, bra or jeans! I understand the whole more fabric idea but a size 12 girl pays the same price for the same jeans as the size 0 girl! So how can there be such a huge diffrence in prices?

First let me say that I like Lane Bryant! I did try all three styles of the jeans and I was not pleased. I am a curvy woman with more rear end than a waist ,so they were not a good fit for me. The straight leg, stretch style was close, but but no cigar! They fit but the waist area was too big. I appreciate LB for creating this line because most stores feature clothing for full figure women to be short and old fashion. I will still recommend the line, it just did not work for me.

I'm just under 6 foot and have been since I was 12 years old which left me with very little options when it came to clothes growing up. I shopped at lane bryant whenever we had the money and they were having a sale. As a whole I enjoy them and their clothes. There are only a few problems clothes tend to run big, and they are pretty pricey. The most frustrating problem for me and this is with many plus size stores; they assume because I wear a bigger size I must have big boobs, and a big gut. I have neither which means my shirts always need to be altered or they gape funny and the pants have extra room in the crotch area for a stomach I don't have. Other than that the quality and style are all very nice and flattering.

The non-standard sizing was a problem for me. One sales person told me I was a yellow 5 (fit horribly!) and another a red 2. I found that the boot cut jean ran smaller than the trouser jean. I ended up with the red trouser jean in a 1 which fit absolutely wonderful at first, but by mid day were all stretched out.
