Milky Way Cake

My mom used to make this cake for me when I was a child on my birthday. I haven't had it in over 20 years and decided to make it last week for my own birthday. It was just as I remembered. The smell, the anticipation and then finally sweet reward. Most of my memories linger a round food. I hope that my kids can relate as they become older and begin having families of their own.

I just did a search on Milky Way Cake and it took me to cooks.com. Wow. What a website. I think that one will be going in my favorites. As for the cake, there's even a version that starts with a cake mix. Now all I need is a good excuse to bake a big cake!
