LDRs: any fun ideas to surprise my long distance bf?

I would really like to surprise my boyfriend that is long distance. I am coming up short with some cute but not so corny things I could do for him or send to him. Any fresh ideas? Preferably not super expensive but I would be willing to splurge a bit. Thanks guys :)

My college bf and I were long distance and once a month I'd send him care packages! Pictures, candy, whatever he likes! Choose a theme and fill it up!

That sounds great! I guess that getting him a ticket to visit you or you surprising him is too expensive but maybe you can meet half way for a weekend in a cheap motel.
