I have just (today) started using rose water on my face after a friend's recommendation. Other than the AmAzInG smell....not really sure what the point is. What are your thoughts and experiences?

A old friend of mine used it to reduce facial redness and for dry eyes. She would just wipe it onto her face for redness. For her eyes she would soak two cotton balls in rose water and then place then over her eyes. I have never tried it myself but it is something I'm interested in testing out.

You CAN make it yourself. I plan to try it this summer. Of course you can buy it as well.

Ive been using rosewater for some time, as it is supposed to have lots of anti-aging benefits. You can buy an inexpensive one from the brand 'Heritage Store". It is a spray bottle, so i spritz it on my skin morning and evening. Its supposed to help dryness, fight aging, and they do say its great for under eye circles and bags, although i don't notice much of a change with mine. It is very refreshing, and I do believe it helps my skin stay youthful. Im almost 30 and have almost no wrinkles or age spots at all. They say it has some kind of 'plumping' ability on skin, a natural way to fight sageness and sallowness and filling in lines/ wrinkles. Its definitely a staple in my routine. Also, during the summer, its great to store it in your fridge and spritz in the morning to wake your face up, ad well as throughout the day to freshen up!

So I use this facial spray by Mario Badescu that has aloe, herbs and rose water. I use this product to hydrate my skin throughout the day. It smells yummy and it just feels nice and fresh on your face. I also set my make up with it.
