I bought make up brushes by Mac and although they were a little pricey, they have lasted forever. Other less expensive brushes have not applied make-up as well, held up to washing as well, and over all I ended up replacing them much sooner than the Mac ones I have.

Elf Brushes Are Good, High Quality, and made with 100% Wood. They are From about $1 to $3 or even $6! Not Close To Mac ( I LOVE Mac, But They Are SO EXPENSIVE!!)

I have found great makeup brushes by two different brands at CVS. I have a huge kabuki that I got with a kit on Overstock.com that is my fave, but good brushes do not have to be expensive. Shop ULTA also.

go to marykay.com they have a great set for $48. All natural hair. Ive had mine for years and I love them, similiar to Mac brushes that cost a fortune too- you get 5 brushes from Mary Kay for what you would spend on 1 or 2 at Mac.

I used to work for clinique and got my brushes through them, I have had my clinique brushes for 5 years and they have held up great. When you buy makeup brushes make sure you also buy a good cleaner and that will help them last longer!

I use E.L.F brushes the studio makeup brush line they have is really nice and only 3 dollars a brush. i was skeptical about buying them because of the cheap price but i love them and will keep using them. id say but a brush or 2 and give it a try.

I use Sonia Kashuk & E.L.F brushes they work great. They're affordable too. soniakashuk.com is were I get mine but you can also find them at your local target stores. Sonia Kashuk also have a cleanser for your brushes so they stay clean.
