Attention Tall Ladies

Where do you shop? Amazing how most department stores offer an array of petite styles but most often leave us tall ladies out of the mix. I need at least a minimum of 34" length in pants and other than Old Navy and Gap I find I have to find most my needs at online tall girl shops. How about you?

Gap definitely makes the best jeans for tall women. American Eagle has extra longs too which I sometimes purchase from their website as well.

I am both tall and plus size, I was very happy to find that Kmart carries Lee Jeans in tall at a fraction of the cost that you find them in department stores, because they are Riders by Lee. Fabulous find!!

This is a great topic!! I am tall and would love some great jeans without compromising. However I also don't want to spend over $100 on a pair of jeans. This is all great information!!

I have had trouble finding clothes that are long enough too. I actually went in one store and asked if they had their sizes in tall and the short girl acted like I was speaking a foreign language. Gap is good I have also found jeans at walmart.

I tell everyone I'm 5'12" cause I hate to say I'm 6'. But I always buy my jeans from AE.com. They have an extra long length that I love! & I don't think they're priced to high. Plus most of the time they're always on sale plus have coupons you can use!!

Most tall stores for women don't carry anything below a size 8. Most dept. stores are getting better at having lines for taller women. Also noticing there's "longs" and "talls" both terms mean something different. Some are starting to have scanning machines you can step in to get your exact measurements to make semi-custom clothes. Lands End, Old Navy, Lane Bryant, a few at Kohls in the jrs dept, Levi's, JC Penney's, J Crew, Eddie Bauer, and many of your high end brands the pants come unhemmed like mens suit pants and are tailored for you.

Banana Republic has an excellent quality Tall section, so does one of their sister stores-Athleta for more casual and exercise clothes. Lucky Brand also has awesome Long and Xtra Long jeans.

First let me say that I'm 5'7", but have long legs so I need a 33 or 34 inseam. It is very hard to find pants that are long enough so I feel everyone's pain. I usually get my jeans from the Vanity Fair outlet in Reading (other locations too). They usually have a size 6 or 8 long that works. I just have to be careful with the waist, my hips are bigger and if I'm not careful the waist will gap. I like Jones NY pants (get those at the outlet in Reading too). I really like Ellen Tracey, but no more outlet in my area. I also ordered long jeans from Lands End. They worked very well too.
