Are women supportive of each other?

We surveyed 2,000 SheSpeaks members and only 37% said that they believe that women are supportive of one another. Does that surprise you? Do you agree or disagree? Share your thoughts. We want to know what you think!

I think that is surprising - I feel that I am supportive of other women, and I hope that more women feel supported in the future!

I'm not surprised. I thought the percentage would be higher but women get caught up into emotional set backs and supporting other women that seem to be a threat always have less support. I don't know why women act in such manners but I feel coming together changes a lot.

I think that it's surprising. I think that women should be supportive of each other because we should be our biggest advocate!

@emimorgan, I thank you for being supportive women like you have a brighter future a head and want to see other women succeed successfully. I hate the other half feel that there is a need to compete against each other, so they look down on the ones that have progressional progress towards something worthy.

I think women are being less supportive of each other because everybody is always competing with each other. I do feel that we as women should support each other because we should understand each other.

I believe women are very supportive of each other when it comes to a cause that advances and makes life easier for women.

I found this very surprising. I'm sad to think that women are not supportive of one another. There is so much working against women without us tearing each other down. We need to give each other a leg up!

I found this very surprising. I'm sad to think that women are not supportive of one another. There is so much working against women without us tearing each other down. We need to give each other a leg up!
