My "Acts of Green" are to always recycle and reuse as much as I can. I also try to limit my waste as much as I can and compost when possible.

I truly believe that EARTH Day is Every Day! Recycle everything that's feasible to do so in your life, take the kids out for a nature walk but ALWAYS bring a leftover grocery bag to pick up the trash. It can be a game!

My kids and I volunteer throughout the year at local clean-up events. We recycle, upcycle, terracycle, reuse, reduce, compost, grow, etc as much as we can :-)

We actually sat down and made a plan to make our house about 80% green this year. The first thing we are doing is installing some solar panels!

For the past 2 years I've been using a Nalgene water bottle. I drink out of it all day instead of buying bottled water. I also just took up gardening! I'm growing my own wheat grass, basil, and chilies at the moment. Oh! and let's not forget I constantly recycle!

I try to recycle whenever I can. I also try to unplug as many appliances as I can when not in use.
