If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?

I don't shop on Thanksgiving, that's a family day. And I'm the cook! We look thru the ads for ideas, but none of us venture out on Black Friday either. Most of our shopping is done online.

I try and get all my shopping before either so I can relax with family but if there is still a hard to find item I will stay up Wednesday night to get first access on Black Friday deals that start at midnight online . Allowing me to enjoy my thanksgiving as well as get great deals!!

I'm old school and am someone who thinks that family and friends should be together on holidays, not stuck in traffic and out spending mony! I only go out if it's absolutely necessary!

I do not shop on Black Friday .. done it 1 time in my life and will NEVER do it again. Now, Cyber Monday is a different story .. I can do that from the comfort of my own home .. given the websites are not clogged with shoppers!

I do some online shopping in the early hours, and usually Target at 10 am. The crowds are gone, and I go for less sought after items, so I always find what I am seeking.

I will be shopping on Thanksgiving from home and on black Friday in store. I do it for the sales and the experience. There's nothing like going into the stores and seeing these great sales and watching everyone go mad over them lok
