If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?

I don't show either day. I shop when my schedule is clear. Do like the large crowds. I rather shop when most people are at work and when my son is in school. I can browse longer when I am shopping alone.

No I don't. My mother and little sister do but I hate crowds and it just gives me anxiety.

No on neither I spend those days with my family eating and watching football and repeating and hearing same old stories to pass on to my kids so that they can repeat them.

I don't shop those days. It's family time. I pick up items during the year and get more bang for my buck$$.

I do not shop on Thanksgiving. I do shop on Friday. Mostly because of the deals, but it has become somewhat of a tradition now, with my family. We go together.

I used to go out with the crowds on Black Friday, when stores offered incentives to go early, my sister and I would go make a day of it and have lunch and have fun together time, but now we do mostly online...

I won't shop in store, I prefer to stay away from crowds and shop in my PJ's from the comfort of my home. I have shopped Black Friday in the past when my children were young, mostly going to Toys R Us. I shop sales year round so it's not about one day for me.

I shop both. I usually take my mom with my on Thanksgiving to get out of the house for a little bit but some of the best deals are on black friday.

I don't shop on Thanksgiving. Some years I have shopped Black Friday online. I don't like the crowds at the actual stores. Plus, the stores get destroyed - products every which way - I don't see how you would find what you wanted. Also, stores seem to have good sales throughout the year so I can take advantage at another time.

I have shopped in the past...and typically at last look online, but it really depends on what I have going on. I typically try to do my shopping before the crazy though. I like shopping when everyone else is NOT shopping if I'm in the stores...late at night, during the day, early in the morning but NEVER on the weekends and during peak times...
