Do you tell friends and family who you are voting for? How do you feel when a friend or family member tells you they are voting for a different candidate? What have you said or done?

Everyone who participates in one of our presidential politics discussions will be entered for the chance to win one of four $25 Visa gift cards. Giveaway is open through October 9th, 2016 to U.S. residents at least 18 years of age.

I tell my friends and family...they know anyway. Nobody else. It's too contentious.

Yes, I do share if they ask me out-right. I can usually guess who my friends are voting for, so although it's not a shock, it's still annoying when they confirm that it's not the candidate that I am voting for. However, I try to be respectful and ask them to tell me more.

I don't mind anyone knowing who I vote for. I respect everyone else's opinion and don't say anything negative.

I prefer not to tell anyone who I am voting for and respect others if they have voting for someone different or have a different opinion than I do

I tell people who im voting for and I don't really care if someone votes for the other two. Its their decision not mine.

I always answer when asked. Disagreements are quite common because everyone is different. I do not take offense because friends and family are usually respectful.

I don't talk about religion or politics with my family or many of my friends because we don't agree and I don't want drama and arguments.

I don't really discuss who I'm voting for, partly to avoid drama and partly because I'm not happy with any of the available choices.

Again, I discuss my voting view only with people I KNOW share the same views. Otherwise, I might as well smash my head into a brick wall.
