I listen first to determine how the other person feels. If they are defensive in any way, I hold back and just talk about it on a general level. I don't get too personal because I don't want to offend or impose my feelings on someone who really doesn't want to hear it.

I talk with family, friends and even strangers about the election in person and on the phone. I have been volunteering for one of the candidates by door knocking and talking with people about the candidate and the election. This is a very important election year. Talking about the candidate is very important to me.

I talked with a few people but very briefly that I know that our Trump/Pence supporters. I am surprised how way off base all the media is on post debate talk. The Democrats seemed to be attacking and bringing up mud, rude at debates and the Republican side is sticking with telling us what their plan is if they enter office.

I discuss it with whomever is willing to talk about it. Most of the people I talk to our level headed well educated people who believe as I do that you cannot have an immature 2 year old running the country. If you are president you cannot just pick up your toys and go home if someone makes you made, and you cannot throw your toy at them either. The they picked on my first mentality is worrisome too, not to mention that one of the candidates hates women, other ethnicities, etc... And the "Let's make American great again" by bringing jobs back, I LOVE the David Letterman commercial where it shows that nothing of the candidate's product line was made in America. I cannot in good conscience vote for someone like that.

I discuss the race with my friends and family every time I see them, whether or not they are Trump or Clinton supporters. I keep an open mind and listen to their arguments for their candidate.

My husband & I discuss politics multiple times a day. I try to discuss with other family members, but daughter is not interested. Our oldest grandson respects our opinions and we're interested to hear his. We encouraged him to register to vote, & our daughter to be sure she is registered. Daughter & son-in-law don't usually vote, but I've been pressuring them to vote in Nov. "If you don't vote, you can't complain about the result."

My husband and I watch Fox News, read political blogs, watched all the debates but the last one. Hillary's guy was so rude, it disgusted me. Watch regular news, and remember that Hillary has been a public servant for 30 yrs. and has only benefited herself. Plus, she is sick, and is using a double. As for my views on FB, I do have friends whose opinion differs from mine, with the exception of one friend, we agree to disagree, as our long time friendships mean more than an election.
