One of the most eco-friendly options for a woman with monthly visits, have you considered or tried menstrual cups?

Not really sure whey you commented happymomhappylife. It was not helpful and rather childish.

A menstrual cup is type of feminine hygiene product which is usually made of medical grade silicone, shaped like a bell and is flexible. It is worn inside the vagina during menstruation for about half a day or overnight to catch menstrual fluid (blood).

Never heard of these - i struggle with my body's ability to keep tampons in and pads, i do get tired of being worried about flow going through and the uncomfortable itching the plasticy material in the bottom of the pad gives me. i will have to check out what this is.

I used to use Instead when those were around and I loved them. I'm not sure if they make them anymore, I don't have my period any longer due to the birth control that I'm on. I would recommend trying it at least. Get the hang of emptying it at home before you try it out. After a couple days I was a pro.

Yeah I have been wondering about them as well. Is it easy to insert and take them out?

I've actually tried them years ago. I didn't really like them. It never seemed to go into place right so I didn't feel it and it was really messy. I don't know if they have improved since then but it definitely wasn't for me.
