Do you prefer a dog or a cat as a pet and why?

I love my cat. She is so much better than a dog!

I'm a cat person. I have 3: 2 indoor and 1 stray I adopted. I've always had cats growing up. I just prefer them. They can be a challenge: aloof, litter box issues, but overall I'll take a cat over a dog

I grew up having a dog. However, my apartment complex did not allow dogs. I have three cats which I love. It is great to come home to these adorable creatures. However, they are as much work as a dog, except that you do not have to walk them. I always loved animals. My daughter grew up with our first cat.

I have both in my home. 3 Boston Terriers and a blue russian cat. Both have very loving different qualities. Dog are more work and demand more attention. Cats not so kuch unless it on theit their own terms. I cant imagine not having both grace mt family.

I love them both. They are like people. You love them for their personality, not what they are.
