Leggings as pants, suggestions?

I use legging as pants both: indoors or outdoors. They're much more comfortable than jeans, that I can't help. Recently, as you're a legging lover as I am, I found a cool on-line store with plenty of options that made it harder for me to go back to pants. Do you think is a bad thing wearing leggings outdoors, to go out? Would u wear models like the ones here: bestsockdrawer.com/?go=products&un=1&cid=6 to go out? Or do you consider leggings as a indoors or exercising outfit only?

I myself would never, ever wear leggings as pants. Even though I'm young and pretty skinny I just think it's kind of embarassing. Most leggings are easy to see through. Even if you wear a long shirt there's still a chance of someone seeing through it. Leggings aren't my style anyways. I think jeans are much more comfy to wear out. And when I stay home I'd rather just wear pajamas, or a night gown.

I don't personally wear leggings because I don't have the figure for them. I think they are fine if someone prefers them and looks good in them. I definitely think the rear should be kept covered no matter what. I have seen many young girls AND women wearing them with the bouncing rear end and that is just horrible and inappropriate. I realize this is only my opinion and call me "old school" but that is me! On another note is also how bad it looks when a girl or woman wears jeans so tight around the mid-section to give her the "muffin top"....OMG.

I wear leggings a lot. They are comfortable and cute. But I'm a firm believer that they should not be wore with a shirt that doesn't cover your backside. It's just not flattering, no matter what size you are.

I live in a major city and how some women choose to where their leggings should leave them feeling embarrassed. I have seen sheer leggings worn with short tops that left nothing to the imagination. I am not a fan of seeing underwear outside. I have also seen leggings worn that were too tight with bulges that made the attire one you wish you hadn't seen. I am a fan of leggings only if they are worn appropriately. Back in the 80's they were worn with over-sized sweaters, which is currently trendy again. In my opinion, leggings aren't pants. They remind me of opaque stockings. Leggings are great when paired with tops worn below the rear end.

Leggings are always the way to go. Just make sure they are thick enough not to be see-through and appropriately fitted! they are more comfortable than jeans and can match with almost all your tops!

They're fine, as long as they are covered by a longer shirt!

yes, yes, and yes. I wear them indoors, outdoors, to work, lounging, and to go out. I agree that choice of shirt should be given some thought but that applies to anything that will shroud our bottom half. I also have completely forgone tights/stockings and will rock leggings under a dress or skirt if it is not a barelegged occasion. You can't beat getting on the floor in a dress as confidently as you would in jeans!
