Leggings as pants, suggestions?

I use legging as pants both: indoors or outdoors. They're much more comfortable than jeans, that I can't help. Recently, as you're a legging lover as I am, I found a cool on-line store with plenty of options that made it harder for me to go back to pants. Do you think is a bad thing wearing leggings outdoors, to go out? Would u wear models like the ones here: bestsockdrawer.com/?go=products&un=1&cid=6 to go out? Or do you consider leggings as a indoors or exercising outfit only?

I don't wear leggins as pants, I don't wear leggins at all only because I don't like how I look in them. My daughter however wears them with long shirts and in the winter with boots and sweaters, etc. I think that the rear end must be covered up, there are leggings that are sheer when stretched over your backside.

I think they're a great choice for casual wear. I'm a college student and my lifestlye requires a wardrobe that is quick, easy, and cute. I like to pair leggings with a comfyvsweater and boots during the fall and winter. I can add an easy breezy top for Spring. I don't think they're appropriate for toobmanybsituations outside of casual wear.

When I started high school, there was this REALLY cool senior girl who wore leggings as pants everyday. So, naturally, being an insecure freshman with no sense of personal style, I bought a bunch of leggings and basically didn't wear jeans for 4 years. They became such a staple that leggings were like, my thing and people would comment when I wore pants because it was such a rare occasion. Also, being a performer, leggings meant that during the day I was always ready to practice whatever and I could run and dance around freely. Long story short, I am a HUGE fan of leggings as pants, but in my years of experience (and after several pairs of see through pants), I would say be concious of how thick they are and what kindof waistband they have. A if you're worried about people judging you for wearing workout attire, then buy some soft cotton ones and ditch the haters. However, if you do decide you want jeans again, old navy rovkstar jeans are the closest to leggings i've found

I will check that site out. My youngest has a hard time finding pants that fit her so she only wears leggings. Thanks for the info. camycr.

I wear them around the house a lot, however when I wear them out I like to have a longer shirt or sweater to give myself some "bum coverage" :)

I wear leggings as pants but with a long top or sweater. I would not wear them for a night out on the town, but I do wear them around town shopping and whatnot.

Of course, I love wearing leggings to jeans. Its not just the comfort, but also about how fashionable that look gives. I wear them even to office.

As a teenage girl I would try to avoid wearing leggings as pants. Wear them around the house all you want. But if you are going to wear them out make sure you only wear them to the gym or walmart and make shirt your butt is covered with a tshirt. I was recently at a camp and all the girls wore leggings one day and we had to climb a wall and guys had to push us up. When the girls bent over you could see the exact color and pattern underwear they had on. I felt so embarrassed for them. Please don't.
