I am looking for wine suggestions for someone who claims to not like wine. Also, has anyone tried the Barrymore Pinot Grigio? I hear good things, but want to talk to someone who has actually tried it :-)

I used to be a non-wine drinker until I tried Lakeridge's Southern Red. It is made here in Florida and sold at Publix for $9.99. Warning, it is on the sweet side, but still has a bit of oak flavor. Beautiful deep red color and smells so fruity. I am hooked!

I agree with Stacey, the Roscato is the one wine that my non-wine drinking friends all like!

Sounds like she needs to take a trip to wine country and do some wine tasting to explain what she does or does not like. Some of the white wine blends are good, look at what percentage the types on the back or bottom of the label, look for a higher reisling content. Sometimes the pinot grio and chardonnay helps tame the sweetness. Look into some Rose wines too.

I tried some that were good, I think you might like to give one or two a try.

I am one of those picky non wine drinkers but even I have found 2 that I like. One is called Real Sangria. I drink the red one. The other is Sutter Home Pink Moscato. They are both sold at Walmart.

I received a dry red wine for Christmas a few years ago... I didn't like it at all.. So I never tried wine again until recently at my sister in laws.. She served a Sweet Red wine. It was Delicious.. Now Sweet Red is my Favorite ..I've tried pink, and blush .. As long as its sweet wine it's pretty good..

Cavit Moscato is my fave of the liquor store moscatos. I am very picky myself! Keep it ice cold. This is excellent to make spritzers with too! SOoOo refreshing especially with the warm weather here now! Good luck :)

I agree with the Muscato comments -- also, add some fruit (cold or frozen) and a little tonic or ginger ale and it's an awesome drink for a party!
