I use MAC's paint pot in painterly for my primer, and it works great! Also covers any eyelid discoloration you might have!

Although not sold as a primer, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "milk" provides a great primer and makes your colors pop and last all day.

Urban Decay Primer Potion for high end. LA Girl HD primer for a drugstore price. The LA Girl is my favorite primer EVER and I have tried MANY!

I LOVE my Bare Essentials primer in Brightening sunlight, it's a shimmery gold primer that you can wear alone for a pop of color and shimmer. It really wakes up my tired eyes and keeps my shadow crease free and looking fresh. I have tried the urban decay and I didn't like the applicator, I felt like a lot of primer was still in the bottle and I couldn't get it out. For how expensive it is, that's a bummer. The BE primer is in a tube and you put it on with your fingers so it's very easy to use.

I have always loves the Urban decay primer potion primer potion but it is quite expensive ranging from 12-30 dollars, for the past two years I found that EyesLipsFace.com (e.l.f) has an incredibly similar product called the e.l.f mineral eye primer, It is from their mineral line and it cost $3. E.L.F also sells many other primers like their essential eye primer($1), and their essential glitter eye primer ($2) but honestly I didn't like those nearly as much as the mineral eye primer.

I enjoy the Urban Decay Primer Potion, although it is expensive, there are alternative primers to use. For example e.l.f., eyes, lips, and face has a great eyeshadow primer that is about a couple of dollars, and there are makeup bases such as BellaPierre that is an all over concealer and waterproof primer and base.

I love Cover Girl, New York, Maybeline, Avon, etc. There is so many excellent Eye Primers out there I really think you just have to try them out and see what works really for yourself.
