I either use the cheap elf stuff or one that Rimmel makes. They're both great and super affordable! :)

I also reccommend E.LF . They have many different primers and they're all cheap. They work just as well as any big name brand,

I prefer Urban Decay Primer Potion, which is great for oily to normal lids. I also like Too Faced's Shadow Insurance. I have tried the $1 e.l.f. eye primer and it didn't do well on my oily eyelids.

urban decay - I have tried several others and none hold a candle to it. It is $20 a tube, but it last forever really so its not so bad and really has staying power

I love my Mac paint pot, pricey but great. But if you are on a budget the e.l.f. one is great too. If you have a little more to spend the benefit stay don't stray is also nice.

I just spread a small amount of my foundation on to lids, let dry, then apply shadow

I, too, recommend e.l.f's $1 essential eye primer! It makes all eye shadows richer and truer looking, and keeps them looking fresh far longer.

I use Merle Norman. It works for me.
