I have a Nook and love it! But I bought this last August before it lauched in color and now wonder if I should upgrade or try something different. What are you thoughts on which one? Pros and cons would be great to read about.

I enjoy my Kindle. If you're looking for which ereader to choose, ask your friends and go to stores with samples. Get your hands on them and try them out. Then you should have a better idea of what will work for YOU.

I have a Kindle and I love it. The only problem I have found with it is that it wakes me up when I fall asleep while reading and it drops in my lap. ;-)

I have the Sony Reader. I like that I don't have to worry with paperback books taking up so much room anymore. The Reader is very limited in its functions. There is no color and no wi-fi connectivity. If I were to upgrade, I would go with a tablet. The Samsung Galaxy is the one I would likely choose. I like that you are able to use it to get online and also use it as a reader. I think it would be worth the extra money to have a tablet that is more varied functions than a dedicated reader.

I have both the Nook Classic and the new Nook Touch. I love them both. I gave my Nook Classic to my husband when he got me the new one and he loves it too. I've never owned a Kindle so I can't really comment on it's features, but I will say that I absolutely love my Nook Touch. I read more and faster. I can borrow books from our library and from my Nook friends and there are always freebies floating around. I have a few friends who have the Nook Color and they absolutely LOVE it! I myself am partial to the e-ink, so that's why I chose to stick with the new Touch. So, unless you really love the e-ink or you really want to be able to do more than just reading (Apps, etc) I'd go ahead and upgrade to the Color. Happy reading :)

I have a kindle and use it a lot. I really enjoy it. I love the way Amazon organize there book selections. I also like the fact that they have 100 free books and change them frequently. The kindle is very easy to use. I do from time to time want to read a real book with pages. Just something about turning the pages of a book but the majority of the time I am reading books on my kindle.

I got the Nook for Christmas and was planning on upgrading to the Nook color. But when I did some research, I found out that the Nook Color only lasts about 9 hours per charge and the Nook 3G can last up to 10 days if you leave it on airplane mode when not downloading books. It's been about 10 months and I don't know what I would do without it. I highly recommend it.

I don't have either but I downloaded the Kindle app to my iphone and love it. I do kind of wish I had either a Kindle or a Nook just so I'm not constantly turning the pages (more words on their screens) but I'm sure I don't need another gadget right now.

I bought the Kindle a while back and loved it. Since then I have purchased and iPad, and now use that mostly for everything, even books. Though the Kindle is great through Amazon with it's storage, etc., I prefer now to use the iPad since it's multi use and is light and small enough to carry with me.

personally i love my kindle...but i am only looking to read on it. I have other devices for searching the web etc. I love that in the sun on the beach its as easy to read as in the shade. Mine is older so if you do purchase a newer kindle i would definitely go with the touch screen!

I am looking at the Kindle Fire for my daughter. I don't think it is even released yet but was wondering about other Kindle products and how they fare.
