Any one like to fish or camp???

I am a mother of two, all but grown boys, 18 and 21. Our favorite thing to do even when they were babies was to go fishing and camping. We have always tried to teach them about nature and how to protect it while enjoying it. Our house was the neighaborhood petting zoo, we took in every baby bird that had been blown out of nest to wild baby bunnies, racoons, squirls, the rare ocasional gardner snake that got ran over and scuffed up " musch to my dislike" that had either lost their mothers or were injured and we returned them to the wild when they were able to fend for themselves. We already have our 4th of july vacation planned to go camping & fishing at the lake. We have invited our friends and my ex husband, his girlfriend, the kids, their girlfriends, and family to join us. We acutually ruff it, we do the whole tent thing and cooking over a camp fire that the lake provides. Does anyone else still enjoying doing this kind of activities with family and friends?

My family loves to camp. We own a camper on the allegheny river. My children, ages 8 & 4, enjoy going to the mountains and camp for the weekend. I can only hope my children truly appricate the opportunity to go and do such a activity

Most definitely! My daughter is barely 3 years old but since she was a newborn we use to take her fishing, hiking and camping and now we can never get her away from fishing. I wish my family did this stuff with me and my brother when we were younger because the joy and excitement on my daughter's face when we tell her we're going on a fishing trip is just such a good feeling.

We used to my whole life. Now my daughter and mom are both in wheelchairs. We have yet to find a wheelchair friendly motor home or trailer. The toy haulers are ok but usually not big enough in the living quarters for 2 mobility limited people. We would do anything to go camping again. So relaxing!

Love Camping....well camper camping not tents. We have a 35ft camper and go lots thru the summer. Taking the kids to Niagara Falls this year and thinking maybe a trip to West Virginia. It is great family time and gets the kids outside to play instead of in the house on electronics.

My family goes camping for my husbands birthday in July. We stay at the state park that is located by the beach. We cheat because there is electricity and I heard they even have wifi! We sleep in tents and cook on a Coleman stove. We fish and go crabbing. The deer will walk up to you and the raccoons will visit your table at night. There is a farm a few miles away and we pick tomatoes to bring home!

My son is a Scout and we have always enjoyed camping and fishing. My son likes it when I get to go so he can show off his camping skills (lol). I think it's a great thing to do as a family. It brings us all closer and I enjoy us all working together preparing the meals.

I love to go fishing. I live a half mile from a major river and many lakes and ponds. I've camped in the past, and hope to get back to it. I have everything I need but shelter. We always used tents.
