What brand of less expensive makeup to use.

I want to try a less expensive makeup. I was wondering what other people use and what they think works better? I am just tired of spending tons of money on my makeup every month. I want to see if there really is a difference.

I think foundations are very tricky - oftentimes cheap versions are not kind to older skin with fine lines. I used to buy very expensive foundation but recently tried the SIMPLY AGELESS brand advertised by Ellen DeGeneres made by CoverGirl and Olay. I absolutely LOVE it! Great blush too. The only drawback is that because it has extra moisturizering, on hot summer days you can end up with a bit of an overly slippery feel to it, but I found a bit of mineral powder or a light swish of extra bronzing powder cured that issue.

There is not a whole lot of difference in foundation. I have used department store brands and discount store brands. And I have found that there is not much difference in their coverage or texture. So, to save money, I have switch to Covergirl and it works just fine. And now I have extra money to buy other things such as lip color or other things that I like.

OMG!!!!finally someone asks!!!!! Everyone has to try ELF cosmetics!!!!! If you are looking for a GREAT eye liner maybelline new york line stylist is the best it would last for hours and NEVER fade its color, A wonderful blush is L oreal bare naturale blush just a little goes a looong way!! For eyeshadow iuse Avon they are really good and have great colors...on foundation i use L oreal true match and for mascaras def. try Rimmel London Sexy Curves it is Terrific....now all this is unexpensive and works just great no need to spend $30 on eAch thing... Hope it helps all of u!!

As far as mascara goes, Maybeline takes the cake. The regular one that's in the pink and green tube. It's pretty cheap and it works wonders for all types of eyelashes. And another thing I love about it is that it NEVER CLUMPS!

I use Loreal Bare Naturale powder foundation and have for a couple of years. It's all I use. It makes your skin look natural and flawless, doesn't cause skin issues, has spf 19, and is inexpensive, especially if you find it BOGO free at a drug store and mix the sale with a coupon. I also love CG Lash Blast-it's the best for me and it's inexpensive as well in fact I use a lot of CG because it's cheap and it works!
