I want to try a less expensive makeup. I was wondering what other people use and what they think works better? I am just tired of spending tons of money on my makeup every month. I want to see if there really is a difference.

ELF eyeshadows, lipglosses, eyelashes are decent for a $1 I have no complaints whatsoever especially about the duo cream eyeshadows. If you dont want to spend lots of money on makeup brushes as well I would recommend buying/ordering them from ELF. Good thing about their website is that they allow their customers to post reviews on all products good or bad so you would be able to make a decision that way as well as to which products to try and which to stay away from. I would also recommend checking your local drugstores for BOGO sales on makeup products so that you can try what works best for you and your skin tone. Another place I get makeup from is from a store called BEALLS (sp?) there I have been able to find not only ELF but LOREAL, MAYBELLINE, PHYSICIANS FORMULA, RIMMEL basically namebrand drugstore level makeup for a fraction of the cost $1-$5. You just have to pick and choose just the other day I found a pretty color lipstick that worked nicely from NYC for $.99!

I use E.L.F. and Avon. With Avon, if you don't like the product or the color isn't what you want, etc., you can return the product for something else. Another good place is your local CVS. All makeup can be returned - even if it is opened and used - for a refund or exchange if you don't like it or want to try something else. This allows you to narrow down brands and items that really work for you. I have never had a problem with CVS and returning/exchanging makeup. This way you can try the latest products and see if they live up to their claims!

I use NYC (New York Color) products and they end up being really inexpensive and good products. Most everything is $1-$6. If you do decide to try NYC, I recommend the Roll-On Lipgloss in strawberry (it tastes and smells like strawberry PEZ!) or watermelon, they're my favorites and only $2! Also their Ultra Last Lipwear in Rose Gold is the perfect color for everyone and is also only $2! Some Covergirl products are cheap and of good quality, too, but look for sales on them if you're not accustomed to paying $6 for a lipgloss. Check out www.drugstore.com (they have a buy one get one half off deal on Covergirl cosmetics!) Also, I know ELF and the beauty lines at Sally Beauty Supply stores are nice and affordable. mark. makeup is very inexpensive. I buy this because they have great eyeshadow that lasts all day w/o creasing and foundation that doesn't clog or irritate my pores plus it has spf which is really important! email me for more details=)

Mary Kay is the make up that I use! It really is not expensive, especially when compared with similar makeup. The mineral powder foundation is bigger AND cheaper than bare essentials and works flawlessly! I am also a consultant - please feel free to check out my website to see for yourself! http://www.marykay.com/katrinabrandenburg

Today I just tried out this great website called http://www.eyeslipsface.com/. Almost all of there makeup is $1. I just made my order today but if you go to youtube.com you can find lots of great reviews. Also if you go to http://www.dealtaker.com/ELFCosmetics-coupon-code-a1637-c.html they have promo codes where you can get lots of good deals. I got 50% off my whole order today. I spent $15 on about 15 different things and that was with shipping!
