What brand of less expensive makeup to use.

I want to try a less expensive makeup. I was wondering what other people use and what they think works better? I am just tired of spending tons of money on my makeup every month. I want to see if there really is a difference.

I use ELF Cosmetics also and you're right, they are super cheap but of really good quality! I mostly buy mine from Target and I think that it's interesting that some other brands that I've tried that cost anywhere from $10-$30 are no where near as good in quality OR quantity as ELF (whose makeup normally ranges from $1 to at most $6).

Elf cosmetics is amazing!! extremely affordable and great quality for the price you pay. I really love lagirl's pro concealer its $1.99 on Ikatehouse.com and is an exact dupe for macs prolong wear concealer. Wet and wild offers great lipsticks for $1.99 too. Rimmel is really great too, their lipsticks run you for $5.50 a pop on top of they almost are always having bogo 50% off. They have a great kohl liner for $3.50 at target as well! another great really inexpensive brand is maybelline, although their prices are inflating, they almost always have sales and coupons :) and for department store makeup I love The cosmetic company outlet which offers department store makeup for less. These products are from overstock, past collections and discontinued shades ect.

Anything you can find in a mass merch store (Target & Walmart) is usually a great deal. Drugstore brands have come a long way - Revlon, Cover Girl, Maybelline, Rimmel, etc. ELF is a great inexpensive brand with great products.

One really good makeup company that I came across lately is BH Cosmetics. Everything is pigmented really well and lasts really long! If going online and ordering things is not the route you want to go, I say stick with something like covergirl. I like the variety of things they have, and the fact they are super inexpensive.
