I want to try a less expensive makeup. I was wondering what other people use and what they think works better? I am just tired of spending tons of money on my makeup every month. I want to see if there really is a difference.

If you sign up to recieve their e-mails they always have specials. It's worth taking a look at them.

I was curious about the ELF. How big are the products. I did not order because they looked tiny. $1.00 is so cheap, it honestly made me nervous!

Physician's Formula is great. I have brown eyes but used the "Perfect Green Eyes" eye shadow--comes with many colors and directions, and I am constantly getting compliments!

I've always been a fan of Maybelline. It's priced right and I've never had any problems with any of the products. Their foundations are the only ones that stay on all day. Love the new Mineral Power line. I've tried some of the ELF line. Mostly eyeshadows and a bronzer. I was surprised at how good the quality was. The eye shadow colors stayed true. For the person who thought they looked small, I think they just don't waste packaging. The actual size of the eyeshadow pan is a good size, definitely comparable to other brands.

I don't use in-expensive makeup. "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR", and I don't want my face to show it....

I use Arbonne. It is not less expensive, but it is an awesome product. It is from Switzerland and it does amazing things to your skin. It is like a MaryKay type of product only much better. I never thought there was a difference in make up, I only bought the cheap stuff. I tried Arbonne and never went back, seriously., it is worth the money.

I find that Maybelline and Covergirl mascaras really are miles better than department store mascaras, they just have it doooowwwn! As for other products, I really like Everyday Minerals for my foundation. They are pretty cheap and they offer a free trial package that allows you to order 3 shades of foundation, 1 concealer, and 1 blush/highlighter/bronzer to try and all you have to do is pay shipping (about $3.) I found my perfect foundation shade after 3 ordering 3 trials, but if you have more experience in picking make up, you could probably do it in less. For eyes products, you should consider giving NYX a try. They are very cheap and their eyeshadows are often compared to MAC's in terms of pigmentation and color selection. If you do like MAC products, you should also give L'oreal's HIP line a try. I especially like their HIP jelly balms, I think they are actually a better version of MAC's tendertones. I hope that helps!

eyeslipsface.com has items for only $1. I ordered several items with my mom and sister and they are pretty good. Eye shadow lipgloss and eye liner were the best items to buy

I really like physicians formula also. Nothing like it, in my opinion. I really like the color choices. I also swear by cover girl mascara. It is perfect for days when I want just a little makeup and looks fab on nights when Im headed out with my girls!

My all time fav. mascara is Maybelline Soft and Full. I always go back to it after straying. The brush on it is awesome and really seperates your lashes. As far as blush goes I am using a Mary Kay blush. I bought it on a whim 2 years ago and I still have half of it left! Mary Kay products last forever, I am thinking about splurging and buying some eyeshadows since I normally only wear the same 2 colors. I really like Cover Girl lipstick, it isn't sticky feeling like a lot of others are. I use Clinique Almost Powder, it too is a little higher, but I have had my compact for over a year now and I still have a good bit left. I bought Wet N Wild 666Brandywine lip liner and the pencil is HUGE and the color seems to go with everything I wear. Can't beat that for .99! HTH
